Marketing Idea: Up-selling Whitening Treatments

Train your office staff and hygienists to “up-sell” teeth whitening treatments when he or she is booking the patient’s next appoint or when cleaning the patient’s teeth. Patients are a great “captive” audience and are more likely to ask questions about new procedures when speaking to a dental professional they know and trust. Keep in mind that educating a patient about popular cosmetic treatments will not only educate them on new available procedures, but also generate interest in the treatments. Talking to your patients about exciting, optional, and non-invasive treatments will reassure the patient that you and your staff are up-to-date on new technologies and interested in helping your patients put his or her best smile forward.
